MHFAider® (Mental Health First Aider)
Become a certified Mental Health First Aider and gain the confidence to recognise, respond to and support people experiencing poor mental health.
About the course
This practical two-day course gives learners the knowledge, confidence and skills to recognise signs of poor mental health, begin a supportive conversation and guide someone towards appropriate help.
Learners explore a range of mental health conditions, the factors that can affect wellbeing and the importance of early support. They also practise how to approach someone, listen without judgement and encourage appropriate professional help.
The course is interactive and includes discussion, activities and realistic workplace examples that help learners apply their knowledge with confidence.
